Welcome to Babbacombe Cricket Club

Babbacombe Cricket Club (established 1893) provides recreational cricket to the local community of Babbacombe in Torquay. Today, our unique ground - ‘the Babbacombe Bowl’ - situated at Walls Hill above the cliffs overlooking Lyme Bay and on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty and special scientific interest is also a social hub, hosting skittles teams in the winter and social functions throughout the year, as well as cricket.

The club runs three senior teams, playing in the Devon league, offering playing opportunities to all abilities, from experienced players to beginners, and has a thriving junior section, catering for boys and girls aged nine and above. We offer social memberships to those who just wish to watch the cricket and access the bar in the clubhouse, as well as an ‘off-peak’ parking membership to those who just wish to access Walls Hill and the coast path.

We also offer a function room which is available to hire. Up to 100 guests can be accommodated in our fully licensed bar area where there is space for your buffet and a band or disco or make your own use of our sound system and lights.
